About Reciprocity
These two horses were created together, nose to nose, out of one sheet of fine silver. Once created, they were temporarily separated in order to add the London Blue Topaz that now connects them together again.
The flow of the horses is achieved with many tiny tools and specialty hammers. Complimenting the depth and volume of the silver is an organic layer of 24 karat gold Keumboo.
They stand together in the shade of the tree, shoulder to opposite shoulder in a north to south position of cooperation.
One takes the wither of the other, scratching gently with teeth tip and lips. Tails swing, keeping intruders away from one another’s face as they reach the unreachable spots that cannot be scratched without assistance. Ears bob happily in time with their mutual ministrations as the afternoon stretches on around them.
There is one word which may serve as a rule of practice for all one’s life — Reciprocity.
